Goodbye Dehydrated Winter Skin & Hello to Spring Skin

How do I keep my dehydrated skin well-balanced?

Although dehydration is a condition, many people think of it as a skin type. However, dehydration means your skin is lacking water, not oil (which is associated with dry skin).  Dehydration can be harder to identify as you may not be sure what  you are looking for.  Dull, tighter skin, fine lines and tiny pores are indicates your skin is lacking moisture and needs some help in keeping it balanced.

The main causes of moisture loss are hard and hot water, the sun, ageing, and a lack of exfoliation.

Tips to re-balance dehydrated skin:

  • Eat foods with a high-water content, such as watermelons, cucumbers, celery and berries.
  • Boost your skincare regime by using both a serum and moisturiser – this will allow the ingredients in your serum to deeply penetrate the skin
  • Exfoliate regularly as this will remove dead skin cells from surface, and enable your products including your serums and night creams to penetrate the skin, and do their job.
